When the brilliant and creative minds behind the Xbox wanted to celebrate the holidays, we brought our best game. Even as the guest list soared from 700 to 1500 attendees, we were undaunted. Our ever-resourceful event team quickly booked a second venue, which happened to be down the street from the original location. The challenge of connecting two hip downtown Seattle nightclubs separated by a city block was a creative opportunity for us. Securing the permitting from the city (and agreements with the local vendors whose businesses would have to close), we tented and transformed the sidewalk into a futuristic holiday promenade that invited attendees to explore the eight distinctive party rooms between the two clubs. It was the season's hottest party—and scored us a 2009 Emerald City Applause Award, which was a nice door prize, to say the least.
