Museum of Tolerance
The opportunity to rebrand a world-famous cultural institution was an honor, and an exhilarating design opportunity, indeed. The museum has long been a touchstone for communicating the pan-cultural effect of the Holocaust, and inspiring understanding through education. We created a sophisticated and transcendent new brand identity befitting this iconic institution—to extend its reach beyond students and academia and capture the hearts and interest of the general population. Along with the new brand identity we devised a fresh shorthand nomenclature, the MOT. This helped connect the museum to new visitors and donors, fortified the organization's mission, and expanded its relevance for generations to come.
